Details of Erdogan’s message to Aliyev
After his visit to Yerevan, Turkish Premier’s special envoy Feridun Sinirlioglu (Turkish FM Undersecretary) met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov to convey Erdogan’s message in Azerbaijani language, Hurriyet reports.
“You can trust our word. Turkey’s stance on Karabakh conflict settlement has not changed, we merely seek to normalize relations with Armenia. But meanwhile we will represent your interests to the end. For us mending fences with Armenia also implies resolution to Karabakh conflict. We meet our pledge, no need to worry,” the message reads.
