U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee adopted Genocide Resolution
00:32 / 03/05/2010After discussing the Armenian Genocide Resolution for several hours, the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs held an open voting.
On Armenian delegation were RA Ambassador to the U.S. Tatul Margaryan and ARF Dashnaktsutyun faction leader Vahan Hovhannisyan.
Before the voting end, Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan left for the presidential residence to discuss the situation with country’s President Abdullah Gul.
Twenty-three congressmen voted for, while 22 — against.
