We should take advantage of Azerbaijan's rough
mistake: Serzh Sargsyan

There are reports that the UN General Assembly will on its September 9 session discuss a resolution on Nagorno Karabakh initiated by Azerbaijan. But whether or not that resolution is adopted will not have significant impact neither on the politics, nor economy and nor on security issues of Artsakh and Armenia, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said at a conversation with a teacher in Artsakh's school #11 during his working visit to the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh.
"Several dozens of countries will probably vote in favor of that resolution. Perhaps, those countries that are always in reconciliation with Azerbaijan: first of all they will be the members of the Organization of the Islamic Conference. But I am sure that all those countries willing this conflict to be resolved peacefully and through negotiations, will vote against this resolution or at least will abstain as they are well aware that the adoption of these kind of resolutions cannot have any positive effect on the negotiation process," said Mr Sargsyan.
Further he said that Azerbaijan is making the next rough mistake which should be used by Armenia to reach its aims.
"Secondly, I think that it is clear for many that once again Azerbaijan is making a rough mistake, and we should use that mistake to reach our aims. It is obvious that we will take steps too, and those steps will bring us closer to our aim … Our activities should be aimed at making sure that not only Azerbaijan, but also other countries are convinced that there is no way back, and that any inclusion of Karabakh in Azerbaijan is excluded: Artsakh is already an established state, maybe it is small, full of problems, but it is a state, and this state will strengthen, will develop" said Serzh Sargsyan.
