Martiros Saryan’s canvases at
exhibition in Groningen

Canvases by renowned Armenian painters are displayed at the Russia and Orientalism exhibitions being held in Groningen, Holland.
Armenia sent eight paintings by Martiros Saryan from his memorial flat, as well as five paintings by Vardkes Surenyants, Martiros Saryan and Grigory Sharbabchyan from the National Gallery. Also, a canvas by the Russian painter Vasily Polenov and one by an unknown painter of the 19th century are being displayed at the exhibition.
The RA Ministry of Culture informed NEWS.am that the exhibition opened on Dec. 19 to last until May 8.
