Following the defeat of the Turkish national team in a match with Germany played late on Friday Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, unable to restrain his emotions, has said he will not go to Berlin any more.
"I will not come to Berlin anymore," Mr Erdogan was quoted by Turkish daily Milliyet saying as he watched the match with his German counterpart Angela Merkel in the stadium.
The match is said to have kept watchers tense. When Mesut Ozil, a Turkish national who plays for Germany, scored the second goal, the Turkish and German fans chanted "auf wiedershehen" which means "good-bye" in German.
