World's longest ropeway
to be launched in Armenia

The world’s longest ropeway will be launched in Tatev village, Syunik marz (province) on Saturday.
The ropeway will be open to public use from 23 October.
The opening ceremony will be attended by Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan. He will attend also other events in Syunik.
Particularly, Mr Sargsyan will attend the foundation ceremony of a building complex in Kapan town aimed at providing young families with housing.
The complex will consist of three sections and will have 335 flats. The project will cost a total of 7.6 billion dram.
The construction of the first building will be finished by 30 November 2012. The construction of the rest two buildings will start in
February next year and is planned to end in 2013.
Mr Sargsyan will participate also in the opening of a square, singing fountains and two branches of Converse Bank LLC in Syunik.
