Unidentified man opened fire on Ataturk’s giant monument in Turkish Province of Izmir, CNNturk reports.
The Mayor of Buja has expressed regret over the attack on the monument, saying:”I criticize this violence. Nobody can break the solidarity of our country. I called on the corresponding agencies to be consistent with the matter. I am ready to personally guard Ataturk’s monument,” he said.
