Armenian soldier Rudik Manaseryan, who was injured in August 31 Azerbaijani attack, was taken to Muratsan hospital in Yerevan from Stepenakert, press service of the hospital informed NEWS.am.
Manaseryan got a gunshot wound in the chest, but fortunately the lungs were not affected. According to doctors, the soldier needs lasting treatment.
As NEWS.am reported previously, on August 31, at about 6:30 a.m. Yerevan time, the Azeri side tried to commit another act of sabotage on the contact line between the Azeri and Nagorno-Karabakh armed forces. The Armenian soldiers spotted Azeri soldiers near Verin Chailu and threw them back, causing losses to the enemy.
