"Indifference Kills Life," "Let's Save Eric's Life Together" was the slogans with which For Life civic group is calling on all Armenians to give only one Armenian money dram to save those children's lives diagnosed with cancer.
Eric, a 4-four-old boy born in Artsakh, is suffering one of the cancers types. He is currently in Russia taking a chemical therapy.
Doctors say that the treatment will bear fruit, and Erick's life will be saved.
Unfortunately, Eric, will need a lot of money for a full treatment.
The group members have already raised 3 million dram of which 720, 000 from a concert specially organized for the purpose.
That money has been used to pay for the chemical therapy in the Russian city of Stavropol.
Now in Moscow the expenses for Eric's treatment are rising on daily basis, and the doctors have not mentioned any specific sum necessary for the whole treatment course.
From today one the group is launching a campaign called "One dram - one life." All the money raised will be used for the treatment of children diagnosed with cancer.
The group has not turned for help to any businessman, pointing to the fact that this is a civic campaign, and that the businessman can help the boy if they want.
"If they consider themselves as citizens of this country, then they can help," said the group members.
