Soldiers of “prosperous” Azerbaijan die on border

Hardly had Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev held the foundation laying ceremony of a new edifice of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and delivered an eloquent speech about “prosperous” Azerbaijan when a solder’s death was reported due to terrible conditions in the Azerbaijani army.
The APA News Agency reports that the Azeri soldier froze to death. The incident occurred on the northern section of the line of contact between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan. The body of 22-year-old Sadigh Asadov was delivered to his native town, Shirvan.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan is still keeping “dignified” silence.
